Description
It should be clear that racing pigeons must be protected with an effective product against parasites. Even pigeons in top condition are disturbed by parasites, especially during rest periods. In fact, pigeons affected by parasites will never reach peak condition.

Parasites can be treated in various ways. One option is bathing, which usually provides protection for only 2–3 weeks and requires an effective active ingredient, not just ineffective bath salts that remove essential feather oils.

Spraying the plumage can also offer protection for 2–3 weeks, but only if the pigeons are not allowed to bathe afterward. After the first bath, the sprayed active ingredient is washed away and the protective effect is lost.

Neck drops are the safest and most effective method to free pigeons from parasites. Of course, there are differences in the active ingredients used in neck drops. Some so-called ecological products on the market have only an “environmental” effect – meaning no real effectiveness.
