Description
Electrolytes are commonly used by humans to replace losses through sweating during exercise. Racing pigeons, however, do not sweat and therefore do not require electrolytes in the same way. During racing, pigeons primarily lose protein and body weight, which should be replenished with amino acids and high-quality animal protein.

While electrolytes are not essential for racing pigeons, they are highly beneficial for breeding pigeons and other birds. Breeding hens that lay eggs repeatedly over the years may develop electrolyte imbalances, leading to dehydration and weakened bones. To help prevent this, Recap Electrolyte Balance contains up to 30 times more electrolytes than conventional products.
