In the case of small pigeon disease, only combination treatments are successful.
Because this disease is caused by a combination of factors.”
In my experience, we always find the following:
• E. coli bacteria are the primary cause and are associated with what is traditionally known as pigeon poop disease.
• Primary Trichomonas/Hexamites structures are always present, sometimes in greater and sometimes lesser proportions.
• In about 70% of cases, a fungal infection is also found, which is actually worse than E.Coli and Trichomonas in triggering the disease.
• The presence of feed pellets in pellet mixes (pellets/Korrels) or straw in cages helps in the spread of fungal infections.

In case of an outbreak, I recommend a combination treatment consisting of:
• Adeno-Coli
• TKK Powder
• Fungi
• Matrix (Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid)
This formula covers all the ailing aspects I mentioned above.
I have treated my own bathroom with it successfully and without any side effects.
For prevention during the racing season, two to three days every two weeks:
5 grams of Combi Mix (one spoon) in 3 liters of drinking water - or
5 grams of Combi Mix (one spoon) + 5 grams of Matrix (one sachet) in 3 liters of drinking water.
The effect is significantly increased by adding Matrix (Amoxicillin-Clavulane)!
In case of illness of small or large birds:
5 grams of Combi Mix (one spoon) + 5 grams of Matrix (one sachet) in 2 liters of drinking water.
Always add Med. Toliamine Forte. This makes the treatments completely compatible and free of side effects for the bath.
