Combi Mix – 100 g

“In the case of Young Bird Disease, only combination treatments are successful, because this disease is caused by several factors acting together.”

Based on experience, the following is almost always found:

• Escherichia coli (E. coli) is the primary cause and is closely associated with what is commonly known as Young Bird Disease.

• Initial infections with Trichomonas / Hexamita are always present, sometimes to a greater extent and sometimes less.

• In around 70% of cases, a fungal infection is also present, which in fact plays an even greater role in triggering the disease than E. coli and Trichomonas.

• The presence of pelleted feed (pellets/korrels) or straw in the loft promotes the spread of fungal infections.

Recommended Combination Treatment During an Outbreak

In the event of an outbreak, the following combination treatment is recommended:

• Adeno-Coli

• TKK Powder

• Fungi

• Matrix (Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid)

This combination covers all pathological factors mentioned above.

This protocol has been used successfully on my own pigeons without any side effects.

Preventive Use During the Racing Season

(2–3 days every 2 weeks)

• 5 g Combi Mix (1 scoop) in 3 liters of drinking water, or

• 5 g Combi Mix (1 scoop) + 5 g Matrix (1 sachet) in 3 liters of drinking water

The effect is significantly enhanced by adding Matrix (Amoxicillin–Clavulanic Acid).

In Case of Disease (Young or Adult Pigeons)

• 5 g Combi Mix (1 scoop) + 5 g Matrix (1 sachet) in 2 liters of drinking water
